Synair-G advocating for asthma patients
Asthma is one of the most common chronic diseases in Europe, affecting 30 million children and young adults in Europe. Asthma can appear at any age, although it very often starts in childhood and teenage years. Given the impact and severity of this disease it is fundamental to better understand its causes and work towards prevention, particularly in childhood.
SynAir-G aims to reveal and quantify synergistic interactions between different pollutants affecting health, from mechanisms to real life, focusing on the school setting and children living with asthma and allergy.
In 2023, SynAir-G promotes the World Asthma Day, an event organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) to raise awareness of Asthma worldwide.
