On Sunday 9th and Monday 10th October 2022, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens hosted SynAir-G’s kick-off meeting in Athens, Greece. For the occasion, all Consortium partners came together to discuss the first steps of the project, interdependencies and highlight the lin between each work package (WP) and the overall goals of the project.
SynAir-G aims to:
- improve our understanding of the main sources and interactions of chemical and biological indoor air pollutants in schools
- develop user- and environmentally friendly solutions and interventions with a particular focus on vulnerable populations
- disseminate the generated knowledge and interventions to key stakeholders
Concurrently, SynAir-G is also a member of the IDEAL Cluster, a group of EU-funded projects focusing on Indoor Air Quality and Health activities. Clusters are part of the new Horizon Europe fund and aim to maximise outcomes by creating synergies across research.
